Le Tip Le News

LeTip Chester County East, the premier, referral networking group of Chester County, held a great meeting on Tuesday. According to research from the Word of Mouth Marketing Association consumers are more motivated to try a brand if they learn about it from a trusted source. LeTip colleagues are your trusted source in recommending your products or services to their friends, family and colleagues!

GUESTS: We welcomed three guests this week:  1. Electa Mary Huber, Fine and Commercial Artist; 2. Ann Mau, Personal Injury Attorney; and 3. Peter Brizick of Carousel Toyota & Scion.

SPEAKERSSusan Dykas of eBernie, Inc. (Computer and I.T. Consulting) and Martin Ritter (General Contracting and Historical Preservation)

1st Speaker:  Susan’s presentation focused on the role of a Network Server within a small to mid-sized business’ I.T. environment. A server is a type of computer designed to process requests and deliver data to other computers over a local or wide area network, or the internet. Servers are configured with additional processing, memory and storage capacity. They offer high reliability, security, and centralized data storage and backup. A good lead is a company with 5 or more employees.

2nd Speaker:  Martin is our only General Contractor, Custom and Historical Preservation specialist. Common across all his projects is Martin’s ability to problem solve and communicate to his clients. He also works directly with architects, engineers and designers to get the job done – artfully yet efficiently. A good lead is a proactive customer with a historical renovation or repair -- or a highly detailed, home restoration project or addition.

TIPS: At this week’s meeting we circulated 11 tips total! (3 inside and 8 outside tips).

SPEAKERSNivé Dhanak of JBND Taxbooks (Bookkeeping & Tax Planning) and Janet Raimondo of Heartland Payment Systems (Credit Card Processing, Payroll Services)

This provides all the standardized business data a small business owner needs to make profitable decisions. Nivé also provided a summary of the main types of business entities (sole proprietor, partnership, corporation, LLC, etc.) and the key tax features for each. The JBND team can help clients select the right form of entity from the start. A good lead is a small to mid-sized business.

2nd Speaker:  Janet provides businesses with payments solutions that give them freedom to focus on their core business. Heartland helps its clients make as much money as possible from every sale rung up on a credit, debit and/or prepaid card by reducing out-of-pocket processing expenses. Heartland Payroll Services help businesses manage their workforce efficiently. They handle reporting, compliance, POS integration and Workers’ Compensation. A good lead is a brick and mortar business, like a doctor’s office or a restaurant.
