Le Tip Le News

Welcome to guest David Yeager, electrician!

SPEAKERSScott Brown of James Brown Plumbing and HVAC and Jack Ansley of John H. Ansley Studio (portrait and landscape photography)

1st Speaker:  Scott B. informed us that 9 out 10 American homes are filled with unhealthy air. Scott can help identify unhealthy air issues in your home or office building, remedy the situation, and keep track of the improved quality. Step 1. Locate potential sources of indoor air pollution, and Step 2. Find out if someone in the home has allergies or asthma. Based on that, Scott will help put a plan in place. Send your leads to Scott!

2nd Speaker:  Jack shared some “old photo restoration” samples. He can help you preserve, repair, and enhance your old family photos with a variety of digital techniques including scanning, colorizing, restoration and more! Jack also offers cost effective solutions. If you – or someone you know - have an old photo that needs to be restored, be sure to send the lead to Jack.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Try to discover

The road to success

And you'll seek but never find,

But blaze your own path

And the road to success

Will trail right behind.

~Robert Brault

SPEAKERSAdam Timar of Eagle Collision (car repair and maintenance) and Scott Darling of Re/Max Realtors.

1st Speaker:  Adam presented a variety of “before” and “after” pictures of demolished or dented cars that Eagle Collision repaired to practically “brand new” condition. Adam, Rob and team take pride in restoring vehicles back to their original condition. They take the time to help their customers maintain their vehicles in safe operating condition and provide dependable transportation and worry-free driving. Send your leads to Adam – whether it’s an oil change or banged up car!

2nd Speaker:  Scott D., our Tip Master extraordinaire, shared some ideas on coming up with qualified leads/tips for our fellow tippers. Basically, it’s very important to LISTEN when speaking to your friends, clients, and family….or you can simply be sitting in a coffee shop and overhear a conversation…then you need to SPEAK UP and let folks know that they can rely on you for ANY type of referral, as someone in our group can either a.) help and/or b.) know someone else who can help.

LeTip Chester County East, the premier, referral networking group of Chester County, had a good time networking during our meeting on Tuesday. We also enjoyed the company of 2 guests:  Bob Evans of EDGE Printing & Packaging and Martha Hilty of Bryn Mawr Trust Company.

SPEAKERSMarshall Pearson, wills and estates attorney and Bridget Hanley of Little Conestoga Picture Framing.

1st Speaker: Marshall discussed the importance of why all adults should have three key documents in place: 1. A will; 2. Living will; and 3. power of attorney. Wills are basically a written testament as to how you wish to have your assets and property to be distributed after death. A living will is an advance directive that allows you to give instructions to your health care providers and your family about the types of treatments you want or don't want to receive if you become incapacitated. A power of attorney is a document that allows you to appoint a person or organization to handle your affairs while you're unavailable or unable to do so. A good lead is a young family or senior citizens.

2nd Speaker:   Bridget enjoys working on a broad array of framing projects – from historical documents and sports memorabilia to prints and pictures and more! She provides great attention to detail and her costs are extremely reasonable. One of our fellow Tippers brought in an enlarged photo to be framed by Bridget. She used the photo as an example to demonstrate how she works with her clients to select the right frame - based on colors in the picture, the room it will be hung in, etc… unlike those big crafts stores! Get a L.I.F.E. (Local Independent Framing Expert) by sending your projects and referrals to Bridget!

QUALIFIED TIPS CIRCULATED:  At this week’s meeting we circulated a 34 tips total! (11 inside, 23 outside). Go Tippers!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK"The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club won't be worth a dime." By ~Babe Ruth~
