As an attorney with the law firm of Lamb McErlane, Dennis focuses his legal practice on Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Orphans’ Court Litigation, and Civil Litigation. In this capacity, Dennis provides knowledgeable legal representation which is rooted in efficiency and compassion to effectively address your legal needs.
Dennis is a major proponent of advanced planning and works with many families and individuals to prepare effective Power-of-Attorneys and Wills as well as assists with the planning of assets which are not controlled by an individual’s Will. When nursing home care is on the horizon, Dennis is able to manage the difficult application process for Medical Assistance (Medicaid) benefits. However, life doesn’t always proceed as expected. Thus, Dennis has extensive experience resolving denials of Medical Assistance (Medicaid) benefits as well as pursuing the appointment of a Guardian for individuals who lack the capacity to execute a Power-of-Attorney. Further, Dennis is an experienced litigator when families suspect that a Power-of-Attorney Agent, Guardian, or Executor is not properly handling their affairs.
A member of the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Montgomery County Bar Association, Dennis graduated Summa Cum Laude, with Honors, from Ursinus College with a B.A. in Politics and a minor in International Relations. While at Ursinus College, Dennis was selected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honors Society), and Pi Gamma Mu (International Honor Society in Social Science). Dennis earned his Juris Doctor degree, Cum Laude, from Widener Law School, Delaware. While attending Widener Law School, Dennis was a member of the Widener Law Review in which he was selected as the Outstanding Staff Member and served as an Articles Editor.
