What a lively bunch today.  Spring is in the air!  Our speakers:

Bridget Hanley, Little Conestoga Picture Framing relayed her experience with her Three C's of  Success so far: Creativitiy, Customers, and Consistency.  Her Creativity far surpasses what one may find at a chain store, and her knowledge of materials and "what to do" is great!.  Then is pours into Customers and repeat business, and finally, Consistency.  Her clients KNOW that they can count on her service and professionalism each time to create a terrific framing piece. Check out www.lcframing.com

Dr Dan Wilson, Chiropractor of Fieldhouse Wellness in the Great Valley Corporate Center is the team Chiropractor for the Philadelphia Soul, and advisor to the Eagles also.  He gave a very interesting and candid talk about how the spine works, and how the brain and nervous system relies on communicating with each other.  His passion about his trade shows.  The body CAN heal itself as long as the whole system operates without interferences, and his specialty is not just about back pain, but maintaining the entire wiring of our bodies. You are in good hands with Dr Dan!

Speakers: Martin Ritter, Martin Ritter Construction, a general contractor, observed that we all have the same referrals in mind. Those who are in a life transisiton are the referrlas he seeks,  a marriage, new baby, downsizing, upgrade a home for value, remodel a room for a new use or a new addition.  His knowledge of zoning and building codes, and being able to govern the entire job is a relief for clients, who may not know the ins and outs of construction.  Martin takes care of all the details and works to solve challenges.

Our second speaker is our newest Member Andy Desiderio, of Hope and Anchor Cabinetmaking.  A craftsman and very talented artist and visionary, he can draw, plan and execute his projects start to finish.  A slide show of one of most challenging basement remodels revealed his acute creativity in creating a custom bar, wine fridge, trim work, and being able to accomodate the client puts him in his own class. The name of his company comes from an interesting source, that of Hebrew 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

The Top Tipper for the Month of April was Bridget Hanley, Little Conestoga Picture Framing with 9 passed tips.  Congratulations!

We welcome our newest member, Steve O'Neal, of O'Neal Drywall and Construction, official drywall installer.  Glad to have you in the group Steve!

Our speakers were Lynnette Suzadeil of National Penn Bank, and George Scherbak of Harvey Insurance.  Lynnette spoke of what can be easy leads for her at Nation Penn Bank: anyone who may be saving for a down payment for a house, car or vacation, anyone with children, or a non-profit organization.  She also mentioned that National Penn Bank does NOT have a surcharge for use of a debit card at another terminal other than theirs.  This is a huge revelation for those who use debit cards, and a big plus to use NPB for your banking needs.

George Scherbak, of Harvey Insurance, and our groups Mentoring Chairman, took the time to educate the group about the power of tips. How to be a good marketer and how to generate leads. TELL people what you do, find out what they do, and think about the other members in the group.  Get into organizations such as committees, boards and network events.  This is a huge advantage to broaden your businesses and develop power partners.  Through other sources like social clubs, church, country clubs or the gym can get  others comfortable with you and they become trumpeters for your business. Its all good, and George had some great tips!

Spring is defintiely in the air and the excitement for the Flyers seventh game had all members in a great mood!  The weather is delightful and business is good!

Our speakers were Bridget Hanley of Little Conestoga picture Framing, and Dr Dan Wilson, Chiropractor.

Bridget Hanley, Little Conestoga Picture Framing, spoke about her beginnings in the industry and how the Three C's to her success help her to achieve.  Creativity is being focused on presenting each piece of art as a single statement to her client, and bringing out the best in colors and design,it's about being different.  Sports memorabilia, and heirloom Preservation are her specialties. Customers:  repeat clients are the mainstay of the framing business.  One clients easy, but having them come back keeps the standards up.  Consistency: providng the same professional service her clients can count on every time.

Dr. Dan Wilson of Fieldhouse Wellness has a long list of credentials that qualify him as an expert in the wellness field.   Chiropractic care is not about maintaining the pain after the fact, but is an essential component to include in anyones wellness journey. A very interesting talk about how our spinal cord sends messages to the brain, and any block in the communication can be helped with realignment, and the paths of communication between the brain and nerves can be opened. Dr Dan lists the Flyers, Philadelphia Soul and The Eagles as clients in his practice.

During our reports phase of the meeting, many members announce opportunties to network and socailize outside the confines of the meeting room.  There are many ways to meet new people and make new friends.
